'This Path We're On' is my first solo exhibition in over 5 years. I will be exhibiting a range of my paintings from 2009, 2010 and 2011, some works have never been exhibited before.

The Opening Night is Friday the 3rd of February from 6-10pm at Brunswick Street Gallery, Fitzroy.

I started the new year by waking up to a heat wave and opening a box which holds fimo and sculpy which belonged to a very special friend of mine. I have had these packets for years now and have never been able to touch them and play with them. My friend was a fimo master and i have never dabbled in it before. I don't know why i felt like doing this on the first morning of the new year, but this is how i spent my morning and i was filled with excitement at how fun it was to play with and wish i could share my joy with her and tell her how amazing and talented she is. I have since then gone out and purchased some more colours and spent the week learning how it works and making and baking beads, earrings, brooches, buttons and even cat name tags for my two cats Lily and Isaac. So below are some pictures of my creations this past week, i have enjoyed working with my hands more and having a tiny break from painting and drawing this week. I hope you like them, i will be putting some brooches up for sale on my online etsy store soon, message me if your interested in something. xo

A collaboration work for a very dear friend

This new collaboration work I did with my close friend Priscilla Ambrosini a few months ago and was displayed in Brisbane a few weeks back. This work was a very emotional and special piece to work on, it is a variation on a work by our dear friend Sarah who was tragically murdered 3 years ago this June. Her piece can be seen above. x

This Little Teapot

For those folk in Sydney, head on down to the opening of 'This Little Teapot' April 13th, 6-8pm, at Paper Plane Gallery in Rozelle, Sydney.

Fifty fist-sized teapots have met their fate at the skilled hands of a select group of established and emerging artists. With the fabulously diverse line-up consisting of painters, print makers, photographers, graphic designers, typographers, digital, textile, and street artists, there's sure to be eye candy to satisfy any sweet tooth.

Artists include myself alongside, Gimiks Born, Bec Winnel, Aramas Ridge, Caitlin Shearer, Alex Louisa, Ellen Stapleton, Rebecca Murphy, Kaitlin Beckett, and many more fabulous Australian talents.

These tempting teapots will be on show until May 1st.

Cupcakes for Prostates

Cupcakes for Prostates is a fundraising exhibition and bake sale aimed at raising funds for Prostate Cancer Research.

At 1000 Pound Bend this Sat, the 7th of August from 3pm. Come down for a cupcake and look at some artworks, I have about seven works in the show. All money raised from the bake sale as well as 10% from all artworks sold, goes directly towards Prostate Cancer Research. Hope to see you there.
